I just came home from our Christmas holidays. I took Caesar down to Maniototo to visit his friend Hugo. They had a play around, and got about setting the pecking order again. At first, we thought Hugo was the dominant one, but it turned out Caesar was the one who is more dominant once he got over his travel sickness.

We also wondered if Caesar still have half his balls, he still tried to hump Hugo!

As we can clearly see, Hugo is puffball white, yet, he somehow exhibits the famous Asian squinty eyes when he smiles. Makes you wonder if Samoy is an Asian breed.

Good friends fight too. I was playing fetch with Caesar, threw a pine cone, Hugo went for it and Caesar lunged at him and just about ripped him apart. Lucky for Hugo, well armored in a really thick coat of fur, the alpha male (me) happened to be there in time to growl at Caesar.

On our way home, Caesar puked in the car, upon closer inspection, it turned out that he had scoffed himself crazy on Holly and the 3 cat’s breakfast.

So, we had a little drama when I was about to leave Maniototo. The car was packed, I’m ready to go. I turned the  key without checking if the gear is in neutral, and the car lunged forward and stalled. I freed the gear, and tried again, and the car refused to start after that. We had a friend who works on car with us, and he fiddled with it for a good 2 hours, we checked for ignition, fuel supply, direct feed fuel through the throttle, etc etc, and just couldn’t get it to go. Luckily, we managed to get hold of a mechanic through AA who thought I might have a case of “fuel washed bore”, and thus lot compression. Since, I had a brief used of the car to move it out of the driveway yesterday, without proper warming up, and the boo boo this morning served as a double whammy. He has a huge battery pack, hook it up, crank crank crank crank crank and crank crank crank crank crank and crank crank crank crank crank and way it goes.
